Five members of the Allies Commercial Realty team joined hundreds of community members on Saturday, May 9, 2026, for the S.L.E.D. 3rd Annual We Don’t Walk Alone Mental Health and Wellness 5K Walk and Fundraiser at Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis.
Hosted by the S.L.E.D. Corporation, the annual event, raises awareness for mental health, promotes access to crisis resources, and helps reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness through education and community engagement. Participants gathered at the Lawrence Central High School Football Stadium, located at 7300 E. 56th Street, before beginning the 5K walk at 8:00 a.m.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to connect with local organizations, support an important cause, and learn more about S.L.E.D.’s mission:
Supporting – Reducing the stigma surrounding mental health
Leading – Awareness, education, and access to resources
Empowering – Individuals, families, and communities
Developing – Crisis intervention and prevention
Participants also passed by Corey’s House, a meaningful part of the organization’s story and a symbol of the impact S.L.E.D. continues to make throughout Central Indiana.
