How the Jr. Broker
Program Works
Our six-month Jr. Broker Program is designed to bridge the gap between the classroom and the commercial real estate industry. Through partnerships with colleges, we bring in newly graduated students to work alongside our experienced brokers at Allies. Trainees gain exposure to all property asset types—land, office, industrial, and retail— while learning directly from industry leaders, including Adam Stephenson, our Founder and the CCIM Indiana Chapter President. Beyond brokerage, participants collaborate with our marketing team, learning how both sides work together to move deals forward. At the end of the six months, participants may be invited to continue their careers at Allies as a Jr. Broker, equipped with the skills and confidence to thrive.
What to Expect
This isn’t just a shadowing opportunity—it’s a hands-on experience from day one. Jr. Brokers are mentored through the entire deal cycle, from prospecting and client relationships to negotiations and closing. You’ll gain access to industry professionals, networking opportunities, and real-world training that goes beyond theory. And because your contributions matter, you’ll even have the chance to earn income on deals you assist with. By the end of the program, you won’t just understand commercial real estate—you’ll have lived it.

What’s the Process to get in?
We take hiring seriously because we’re looking for individuals who have the drive, resilience, and mindset to succeed in commercial real estate. Our selection process ensures we bring in the best talent and provide them with the right foundation to thrive.
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Candidates start by submitting a resume and a short cover letter explaining why they are interested in commercial real estate and what makes them a great fit for the Junior Broker Program.
Step 2: Initial Screening Call
If your application stands out, you’ll be invited to a 15-20 minute phone interview with our recruiting team. This is a chance for us to learn more about your background, career goals, and interest in the program.
Step 3: In-Person Interview with Our Team
Qualified candidates will be invited to our office for a face-to-face interview with a Managing Director or Senior Broker. We’ll dive deeper into your motivations, work ethic, and ability to handle the demands of a commission-based career.
Step 4: Junior Broker Aptitude Test
To ensure you have the skills and mindset for success, you’ll complete a short assessment that evaluates your problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and business acumen.
Step 5: Final Interview with Leadership
Candidates who make it through the earlier stages will have a final interview with our Managing Director. This is where we discuss expectations, earning potential, and how you can grow within the company.
Step 6: Offer & Onboarding
If selected, you’ll receive a formal offer to join the Junior Broker Program. Once you accept, you’ll go through an onboarding process that introduces you to our team, tools, and training resources.
